The Schecter Hellcat VI is a cult classic among baritone enthusiasts and sonic adventurers. With this sleek black model, you can experience its distinctive voice for yourself. The Hellcat VI bridges the gap between bass and guitar, featuring a short 30″ scale length that allows for deep, resonant tones while retaining guitar-like playability. Built with a solid alder body, a bolt-on maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard, this instrument delivers rich harmonics and excellent sustain.
Body: Swamp ash body in a black gloss finish.
Neck: Maple neck with carbon-fiber reinforcement rods, Pau Ferro fingerboard, 30 scale length, 1.653 Graph Tech XL Black Tusq nut width, 22 X-Jumbo frets, 12 radius, mother-of-pearl dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Duncan-designed mini humbuckers, 5-way selector switch, 3 on-off coil-split slider switches, TonePros system bridge with custom brass saddles, anchored stop-tail, Grover Vintage Deluxe tuners, retro-style knobs, nickel/chrome hardware.
Cosmetics: Guitar is in good condition with light playwear near the picking area. This instrument does have a few big dings on the top bout of the guitar but it is structurally sound. The frets have little play wear and are tall with no divots. There are no dings, dents or major scratches to speak of.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
Weight: 7 lbs. 12 oz.
