This Japanese-made instrument is part of the Ibanez Prestige series, known for its meticulous craftsmanship and high-end performance. At the heart of the ATZ300 is an alder body, providing a balanced tonal foundation with clear highs, focused mids, and punchy lows. The roasted maple neck and fingerboard offer superior stability, smooth playability, and a warm tonal character. It features Andy’s preferred AZ-style neck profile, with a comfortable grip thats perfect for expressive phrasing and fast runs. The 22 stainless steel frets with Prestige fret-edge treatment ensure durability and effortless bending. Electronics-wise, the ATZ300 is loaded with a custom DiMarzio Cruiser pickup set (Cruiser bridge and neck, and an ATZ-custom Cruiser in the middle), delivering vintage single-coil clarity without the humideal for Andys signature mix of smooth leads, dynamic cleans, and punchy rhythm tones. The simplified 5-way switch and single volume and tone control setup keeps things intuitive and expressive.

Pickups/Hardware: Dimarzio Cruiser pickup set, Wilkinson-Gotoh VSVG Tremolo, Gotoh Magnum lock tuners.

Cosmetics: Guitar is in very good condition with moderate playwear on the pickguard. The frets have little play wear and are tall with no divits. There are no dings, dents or major scratches to speak of.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
