One of the most iconic BM seen on countless bassist and fuzz drenched boards the Black Russian BM is the one most players go back to. Built from 98-00s not all of them where spot on killers, some were just a solid fuzz but when you got that one that that hit all the right notes it would rip the paint off the walls. So what we wanted to do is capture that face melting tone while using the most top grade components to lock it in and keep it from drifting. Carbon Composite resistors are great but not that stable, we also went with BC548C transistors which have a little more gain than the BC547s that came with most.
