This 2007 Gibson Hummingbird Artist, with its square-shoulder dreadnought body and distinctive hand-painted pickguard, features a Sitka Spruce top paired with tropical Mahogany for the sides, back, body blocks and neck. Indian Rosewood is used for the bridge and bound fingerboard. Fingerboard inlays are split parallelograms in Mother of Pearl.
Body: Sitka Spruce top, Mahogany back and sides in Faded Cherry Sunburst finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75 scale length, 1.75 nut width, 20 frets, split parallelogram Mother of Pearl inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: L.R. Baggs Element pickup, Grover tuning keys, Rosewood bridge, new bone nut.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in good shape. It has light surface scratches, and very light dents on the body. There was a finish crack, professonally repaired on the lower side. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.
Modifications: New bone nut, repaired finish crack (lower side)
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
