This Fender Artist Series Sting Signature Precision Bass is a faithful limited edition reproduction of Sting’s trusty 1953 Precision Bass with his signature in a block inlay at the 12th fret. It features a contoured lightweight ash body with single-ply pickguard. Maple neck and fretboard with a 7.25″ radius, a vintage 2-saddle bridge, and a vintage single-coil pickup and was made in Japan.

Body: Ash in Sunburst finish.

Neck:Maple with a Maple fingerboard, 34 scale length, 1.62 nut width, 20 frets, black dot and pearl block with Sting signature at the 12th fret inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Single coil pickups, open back tuning keys, vintage style 2 saddle string-through-the-body bridge,chrome knobs, bone nut.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. It has light surface scratches on the body and some dents/chips on the edges. The back of the neck is mostly clean, with a nick on the upper shoulder, and the frets show minimal wear. The back has light buckle rash. Overall, this guitar plays very well and sounds fantastic.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable.
