The David Yale Heritage Series Titian 1715 Stradivarius model is inspired by one of the most majestic violins ever made by Antonio Stradivari. Crafted during his golden period, the original Titan is prized for its balance, brilliance, and eleganceonce owned and performed by virtuosos such as Sarasate. This model revives that noble spirit in a violin built for the modern performer who values both visual beauty and tonal clarity.
Finished with a transparent reddish-brown oil varnish over golden ground, this violin is finely antiqued to reflect tasteful wear and patina, giving it a warm, lived-in look. The stunning two-piece maple back features deeply flamed figure, while the top showcases fine-grained spruceboth hand-selected for resonance and visual harmony.
The tone is focused, brilliant, and clear, with sweet highs, a glowing midrange, and just enough low-end warmth to give depth without muddiness. It offers excellent projection and immediate response, ideal for advancing players and soloists alike.
Fitted with classic Hill-style boxwood pegs, a clean tailpiece, and a Guarneri-style chinrest, the violin maintains a traditional, understated elegance. Everything about the Titan speaks of craftsmanship, from the shading in the varnish to the confident, ringing tone it produces.
