Nicely finished copy of a Stradivarius violin. This violin is a shop model that was started overseas with well aged European spruce and maple tonewoods, and then hand finished in the USA. It has undergone a re-graduation process to more carefully tune the top and back plates as well as bass bar, to refine the sound of the violin. After assembly the instrument was hand varnished with a high quality spirit varnish that is a darker brown with some nice red highlights.

The violin has undergone a full setup with beautiful Ebony fittings, including Knilling Perfection Pegs and a harp style tailpiece, and is currently setup with Thomastik Dynamo strings for a bold and responsive sound. Tonally this violin is more on the sweet and resonant side with a lot of warmth for a new violins. This is a fantastic chance to own a violin that is hand finished in the USA at the quality of an individual luthier built instrument at a much lower price.
